About the role

The Losses department of Marsh is looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience to join its claims team of 13 people in Paris. The role covers both handling claims and advising clients, from technical advice to defending their interests with insurers.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage claims and advise clients, including technical advice, client responses and defending their interests with insurers
  • Lead the indemnification process from claim declaration to closure
  • Build strong relationships with clients, insurers, experts and lawyers
  • Take part in tender calls
  • Follow up files regularly and rigorously (statistics, prescription deadlines, settlements) and keep clients and account managers informed

Required profile

  • At least 5 years of successful experience in insurance brokerage or consultancy firms on damage claims and business interruption losses
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Autonomous, rigorous and customer-focused
