Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

ArchiMed is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for one of its healthcare portfolio companies. Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Executive Committee, the CFO will shape strategy, drive financial performance and act as a trusted partner to leadership and shareholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with growth ambitions.
• Lead a finance team of seven, overseeing controlling, accounting, treasury, tax, internal control and reporting.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, long‑term planning and performance management.
• Provide analysis and recommendations for executive and board‑level decisions.
• Partner with business leaders to improve operational performance, profitability and resource allocation.
• Manage cash flow, capital structure, financing strategy and relationships with shareholders, investors, banks, auditors and advisors.
• Support strategic initiatives such as transformation, international expansion, acquisitions and integrations.
• Strengthen governance, financial processes, systems and business‑intelligence capabilities.

Required profile

• Significant experience in corporate finance, controlling or FP&A, including a Finance Director or CFO role; private‑equity experience is a plus.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, performance management, financial modelling and corporate finance.
• Proven track record of partnering with executive teams on strategic and operational matters and leading transformation.
• Hands‑on approach: the CFO builds and presents financial models.
• Advanced proficiency in English; additional languages are an asset.
