Chemical Equipment Operator Internship (CAIC) – Gaillac

About the role

Pierre Fabre Laboratories, a global pharma and dermo-cosmetics group, is offering an internship as a Chemical Equipment Operator (CAIC) at its Gaillac plant (Tarn, France). The intern will carry out manufacturing operations in the production of pharmaceutical and cosmetic active ingredients, working autonomously across several technologies and workshops.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out defined manufacturing operations while respecting site standards (ICH Q7A, GMP, BPF, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) and hygiene, safety and environmental rules.
• Run and adjust processes independently, ensuring continuity of flow across several technologies and workshops.
• Analyse the impact of each step on the next and on product quality, interpret results and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production records such as batch logs, equipment sheets, machine logs and instruction books.
• Take part in common tasks related to the organisation of the sector.

Required profile

• Student enrolled in a degree programme focused on chemistry or chemical engineering (BUT level).
• Knowledge of chemistry and/or chemical engineering, and familiarity with industrial manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Required skills

• Office software package (Pack Office).
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
