Capital Markets Off-Cycle Internship 2027 - Paris

About the role

Barclays is offering an off-cycle internship in its Capital Markets division in Paris, lasting 3 to 6 months. The purpose is to take part in the day-to-day work of the division, supporting senior colleagues in making informed decisions, developing new products and services and spotting new market opportunities. Participants learn from experienced professionals, join substantial projects and can get involved in live deals, deal proposals and new business presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Run small research projects and prepare presentations and reports to communicate research findings
• Collaborate with senior management to turn research into action and with cross-functional teams on business initiatives
• Advise corporate clients and manage client relationships, answering product questions and processing transactions under steadily decreasing supervision
• Develop business cases and help deploy and launch new products and services
• Build and run financial models and strategies used in Capital Markets decision-making
• Take part in training and development programmes

Required profile

• Penultimate or final year of a degree in any discipline
• Fluent in English and French
• Interest in business and finance, resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit

What we offer

• Salary range of EUR 30,000 (entry and upper), based on responsibility and experience
