Buyer – EMEA Packaging (1-year contract)

About the role

The Buyer for EMEA Packaging will support sourcing activities across multiple countries, ensuring the procurement of non‑contracted materials, goods and services that meet Cargill’s standards. This 1‑year fixed‑term position works closely with regional and global category teams to drive sourcing decisions and maintain strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Execute medium to highly complex sourcing events for packaging materials.
• Implement regional and global sourcing decisions and provide inputs for category strategy.
• Monitor and develop relationships with regional suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Follow established procurement procedures to select suppliers for non‑contracted items.
• Independently resolve moderately complex issues, escalating when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant procurement or sourcing experience (typically 3+ years).
• Strong command of English; additional EU language is a plus.
