Business Support Analyst EMEA

About the role

Hexcel, a manufacturer of advanced lightweight composite materials such as carbon fibre, resins and honeycombs, is looking for a Business Support Analyst (f/m) based in Dagneux, France. The role supports the Business Support Manager and key stakeholders across Sales and Marketing (Europe and Asia) by coordinating business support operations, sales reporting standardisation and commercial information systems administration. It also acts as the main link between commercial teams and the central IT / Business Intelligence team.

Key responsibilities

• Sales reporting and commercial analytics: structure, standardise and distribute daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc sales reports for Europe and Asia, ensuring data consistency across customer, product, market and geographic hierarchies.
• Functional system administration: administer and maintain commercial systems, including the demand forecasting and planning platform (18-24 month rolling forecasts), manage user access and master data, and support sales engineers and product managers.
• ERP transition support: help keep data flows stable between commercial tools and group ERP systems during migration phases (Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 to Dynamics 365).
• Business-to-IT interface: gather and formalise business requirements into functional specifications, assess technical impacts on legacy workflows and ensure Power BI solutions meet commercial needs without coding in production.
• Continuous improvement: reduce reliance on one-off manual routines, simplify commercial processes and support data quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Master's degree (Bac+5 minimum) in Business Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Sales Operations or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in an international, industrial manufacturing environment, ideally in Sales Operations, Commercial Controlling or Business Support.
• Fluent English and French (daily working languages across European and Asian entities).
• Strong business acumen on industrial B2B sales cycles, forecasting and customer hierarchies; awareness of commercial pricing dynamics is appreciated.

Required skills

• Business intelligence concepts, relational databases and Power BI report architecture.
• Experience with ERP platforms (Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 preferred) and commercial planning/forecasting tools.
• Comfort with recurring reporting, master data hygiene and functional maintenance.
