Business Development Analyst Intern - Capital Markets

About the role

Euronext is looking for a Business Development Analyst Intern to join its Business Development team in the Primary Markets department, based in Paris and starting in January 2027 for a 6-month internship. The intern reports to the Business Development Manager. The team is the focal point for business intelligence and projects for all Euronext listing venues.

Key responsibilities

• Identify international prospects, carry out stock market analysis and capital market research (ECM), and conduct competitive benchmarking.
• Contribute to the team's research capacities by adding knowledge and content on specific sectors and topics related to equity and debt capital markets.
• Help launch and develop new services and initiatives, such as new partnerships and the annual preparation of IPO-ready pre-IPO programmes.
• Take part in producing quarterly group reports on business performance for senior management.
• Support the team on projects that are strategic for the Primary Markets business unit.

Required profile

• Final or penultimate year student from a university, business or engineering school with strong academic credentials.
• Solid understanding of and interest in capital markets.
• Willingness and ability to work independently on multiple projects and in virtual, multicultural teams.

Required skills

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent English and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong research and writing skills on quantitative and qualitative topics.
• Command of Excel and PowerPoint; FactSet, Refinitiv or Bloomberg are a plus.
