Behavioural Science Framework Consultant for CCAC-TEAP

About the role

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) seeks a consultant to develop a Behavioural Science Framework that will enhance the uptake of super‑pollutant mitigation technologies. Working remotely for the UNEP Secretariat in Paris, you will apply behavioural science and behavioural economics to identify barriers and opportunities across sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse behavioural drivers influencing adoption of mitigation technologies in diverse contexts.
• Produce a detailed report outlining key barriers, opportunities, and recommendations.
• Design a practical framework and diagnostic checklist for future CCAC‑TEAP assessments.
• Collaborate with TEAP Co‑Chairs, panel members, the Secretariat and external stakeholders to integrate behavioural insights with technical, economic and policy analyses.
• Support communication strategies to improve the design and implementation of mitigation solutions.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in behavioural science, economics, public policy, or a related field.
• Proven experience conducting behavioural research and translating findings into actionable frameworks.
• Familiarity with climate, air‑quality, or environmental technology contexts.
• Strong analytical and report‑writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with international stakeholders.
