Backend Engineer – AI Agents (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Backend Engineer to join our remote AI‑agents team. You will help design and operate autonomous agent systems and real‑world LLM workflows, collaborating with leading AI researchers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services that support multi‑step AI workflows.
• Integrate external APIs such as Supabase, Gmail and other tools to enable agent orchestration.
• Implement persistent memory and session handling mechanisms for autonomous agents.
• Ensure production‑grade reliability, performance and security of all services.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to security, privacy and prompt injection.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional experience in backend engineering, AI automation or systems integration.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfort working fully remotely and managing project‑based deliverables.
