Application Support Engineer (CDSClear)

About the role

LSEG is hiring an Application Support Engineer for its CDSClear business in Paris. You will deliver Level 2 IT support for in-house trade management and risk platforms across production and test environments, partnering with other CDSClear teams to advance the delivery roadmap. The role includes an out-of-hours on-call rota and late-shift site reliability engineering cover up to 10:30 pm London time.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the operational health of CDSClear production and UAT environments and lead front-to-back support for aligned and non-aligned applications and infrastructure
• Build strong working relationships with First Line Risk, Operations and Customer Success teams, and proactively align IT teams with business and production events
• Own and maintain standard operating procedures around daily clearing sessions, and run the IUA and EUA test environments
• Supervise the IT Support team, optimising workload across BAU support, projects, shifts, on-call duties and business events
• Coordinate and implement disaster recovery testing, lead incident management, and own organisational change in line with the enterprise change calendar
• Drive continuous improvement, collaborate with development teams on release reliability and automation using the LSEG DevOps toolset, and lead capacity and performance management
• Manage IT risk, coordinate with Information Security on vulnerabilities, and act as the primary IT interface to security

Required profile

• Hands-on technical expertise across the CDSClear estate, including Unix, SQL, Control-M, web services and networking
• Exposure to AWS is advantageous
• Senior Associate career stage
