Analytical Technician

About the role

Syntetica is a fast‑growing startup focused on closing the loop in nylon recycling. As an Analytical Technician you will work in a dynamic laboratory environment, generating high‑quality data that directly supports research, development and process optimisation for circular textile materials.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and non‑routine analytical measurements on process samples, raw materials and final products using techniques such as HPLC, XRF, titration, NMR, FTIR, GC and electrochemical methods.
• Prepare samples, maintain calibration standards and ensure full traceability of results through structured record‑keeping.
• Assist in the development, validation and documentation of new analytical methods as product and process complexity increase.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, schedule routine maintenance, coordinate servicing and troubleshoot instrument issues.
• Support laboratory operations by managing inventory, ordering chemicals and consumables, and ensuring safety compliance.
• Contribute to product qualification, preparing certificates of analysis and quality documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or technical degree (BTS/DUT/Licence Pro) in analytical chemistry, chemistry or a closely related field.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in an analytical laboratory.
• Strong attention to data quality, traceability and continuous improvement.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
