Adjunct Lecturer – Working Methods, Project Management & Professional Skills

About the role

MINES Paris - PSL is seeking a part‑time adjunct lecturer to join the International Bachelor of Environmentally Engaged Engineering (I‑BE³) program. The role focuses on teaching working methods, project management, and professional skills to undergraduate engineering students, supporting their semester‑long projects aligned with Sustainable Development Goals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver interactive workshops, tutorials and seminars on project management fundamentals, collaborative methods and professional communication.
• Guide students in structuring, planning and monitoring their SDG‑related projects, using tools such as Kanban.
• Develop and refine methodological tools and frameworks for the curriculum.
• Assess student work through project reviews, presentations and written reports.
• Coordinate with the broader teaching team to ensure alignment with disciplinary courses and project expectations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or higher in engineering, management or a related discipline.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Proven or strong potential for undergraduate teaching excellence.
• Interest in pedagogy, student support and interdisciplinary engineering education.

Required skills

• Knowledge of project management fundamentals (planning, milestones, deliverables).
• Familiarity with collaborative methods and teamwork practices.
• Experience with basic project monitoring tools such as Kanban.
