Account Executive - Retail (Enterprise)

About the role

Salesforce is looking for an Account Executive to join its Enterprise team, dedicated to developing strategic accounts in the retail sector. The role covers the full Salesforce Customer 360 platform, supporting both existing clients and new prospects in maximising their investment and reaching their business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and steer the long-term strategy for each account, aligned with the client's business objectives
• Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, mobilising pre-sales engineers, professional services and partners
• Identify and qualify new target accounts and define a market coverage plan within 30 days
• Build lasting relationships with senior decision-makers in the target organisations

Required profile

• Proven experience selling complex technology solutions in a long-cycle, multi-stakeholder environment
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams to close strategic opportunities
• Proven track record of acquiring new accounts in a competitive environment
• Fluent French and English

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of retail-specific business challenges and buying cycles
• Training in a structured sales methodology (e.g. MEDDIC, Challenger)
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
• Record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets
