Account Executive – Mid-Market (France)

About the role

Primer is looking for a motivated Account Executive to drive growth of its unified payments platform across mid‑market accounts in France. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and work closely with founders, CEOs and other senior leaders to showcase the value of Primer’s solution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process for mid‑market prospects, including outbound prospecting, discovery, negotiation and closing.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline through networking, strategic partnerships and targeted outreach.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product and Customer Success to tailor solutions and ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Provide consultative selling, identify client challenges, and present innovative payment‑technology solutions.
• Accurately forecast revenue, track activities in the CRM, and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales playbooks.

Required profile

• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
• Strong bias toward action, with the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, comfortable engaging C‑level executives.
• Self‑motivated learner who stays informed on industry trends and payment innovations.
