Account Executive, France

About the role

Gartner is hiring an Account Executive in France, a field sales role focused on client retention and growth. Account Executives build trust-based relationships with C-Level executives and their teams, understand their clients' priorities and identify opportunities to deliver more value with alternative product offerings. They are assigned a territory of Large Enterprise clients: in the End-User segment, clients with more than $1 billion in annual revenue; in the Tech Vendor segment, clients with more than $500 million.

Key responsibilities

• Drive value delivery with current Gartner clients so they maximise the value of their services
• Identify, cultivate, qualify and close client growth opportunities through cross-sell and upsell
• Build a pipeline of high-quality opportunities to meet sales metrics and KPIs
• Own quota responsibility for the assigned territory
• Manage complex, high-revenue sales across matrix and diverse business environments
• Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

Required profile

• 5-8+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales environments
• Experience selling to and/or influencing C-Level executives
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Proven ability to own, manage and forecast a complex sales process
• Willingness to travel as needed
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Fluency in English and French
