UI Artist – Paper.io 2

About the role

Voodoo is looking for a talented UI Artist to join the Live games team working on Paper.io 2. You will collaborate with a small, high‑performing team to shape the visual language and user experience of a globally popular mobile title.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Art Director in translating the game vision into intuitive UI concepts.
• Design and optimise UX flows for new and existing features.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive UI Style Bible and reusable component libraries.
• Produce high‑quality 2D assets such as menus, HUDs, buttons, and icons, ensuring optimal performance on mobile devices.
• Work closely with Game Designers and the Product Team to align UI with gameplay and accessibility goals.
• Iterate quickly based on team feedback and live user data.
• Propose creative ideas to boost player engagement and improve overall user experience.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a UI/UX Artist on shipped mobile games.
• Proficiency in Figma for UI design.
• Strong visual design sense, with attention to hierarchy, composition, and readability.
• Awareness of emerging mobile‑game trends and ability to learn from successful cases.
• Experience documenting and executing a consistent UI visual language.
• Proven ability to collaborate with remote, cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent English communication skills.
