Tax Manager

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our finance team in Lisses. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with tax regulations while developing strategies that support the company’s growth and financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Independently prepare and file corporate tax returns, including VAT and Corporate Income Tax.
• Identify tax and business risks and propose effective mitigation solutions.
• Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filings and payments.
• Provide strategic tax planning advice to minimize liabilities and support business decisions.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and liaise with tax authorities.
• Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on the business.
• Assist with tax audits, ensuring proper documentation and risk management.
• Collaborate with the accounting team during month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare and maintain tax reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of tax management experience, preferably in a multinational environment or Big Four firm.
• Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Fluent in French and English; Chinese is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems, especially SAP.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
