Tax Manager – Corporate Tax & VAT Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our finance team in Lisses, France. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with corporate tax obligations while driving strategic tax planning to support the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Independently handle corporate tax filings, including VAT and Corporate Income Tax.
• Identify tax and business risks and develop effective mitigation solutions.
• Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filing of returns and payments.
• Provide strategic tax planning and advice to minimize liabilities and support business decisions.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and liaise with tax authorities.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
• Assist with tax audits, ensuring proper documentation and risk management.
• Collaborate with the accounting team during month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare and maintain tax reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably in a multinational environment or Big Four firm.
• Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in French and English (Chinese is a plus).
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
