Tax Coordinator

About the role

The Tax Coordinator will supervise all BP customs processes, providing operational support for customs controls and ensuring compliance with customs regulations across BP's fuel and air activities in France. The role acts as the primary customs expert, safeguarding BP's interests and guiding internal teams on customs and excise matters.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all customs obligations for import, export, delivery, and shipping of energy products.
• Answer customs-related questions for supply, provisioning, and air refueling activities.
• Perform customs declarations and manage customs operations for Fuel and Air BP activities.
• Manage customs requests related to customer exemptions and Article 65 obligations.
• Maintain relationships with customs authorities and the DGDDI.
• Set up and update BP customs statutes, guarantees, and powers of attorney.
• Coordinate pre‑litigation and litigation processes for BP France.
• Train internal teams on customs and excise topics and represent BP in NOIA meetings.

Required profile

• Proven track record in customs coordination or a similar role.
• Advanced expertise in customs regulations within the petroleum sector.
• Strong knowledge of excise duties.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and highly organized.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English.
