Systems MSG-3 Specialist – Maintenance Engineering

About the role

ATR is seeking a Systems MSG-3 Specialist to join its Engineering Directorate within the EOS team in Toulouse. You will work closely with the MRB process referent to ensure the aircraft maintenance program complies with PART21, MSG-3 and internal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Systems MSG-3 activities and ensure compliance with regulations and MRB processes.
• Assess impact of new Type Certificate changes on MSG-3 documentation.
• Update or create system MSG-3 analyses and monitor vendor maintenance recommendations.
• Track in‑service events, evaluate their impact on the maintenance program, and organize sub‑contracted activities when needed.
• Act as MSG-3 systems focal point in maintenance working groups and present program changes to airworthiness authorities and airlines.
• Support MRBR and MPD preparation and contribute to IP44 maintenance evolution campaigns.
• Respond to airline queries, identify improvement opportunities and lead related actions.

Required profile

• Degree in Maintenance Aeronautics or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in MSG‑3 activities.
• Active participation in international maintenance working groups; CAMO experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English (C1 minimum) and able to communicate in French.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of MSG‑3, IP44 and MRB processes and related regulations.
• Strong understanding of ATR system design, failure modes and ability to interpret design data (SDN, schematics, vendor documentation).
