System Installation & Cabin Industrial Architect – Future Aircraft

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a System Installation & Cabin Industrial Architect to join its Industrial Architecture Future System department in Toulouse. You will help shape manufacturing concepts and assembly line architectures for next‑generation aircraft, ensuring cabin layouts and system installations are buildable, cost‑effective, and delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Define the overall industrial system concept, including assembly sequences, line design, and logistics flows for transport payload and system routing.
• Integrate industrial feedback into aircraft design, collaborating closely with engineering to optimise Design‑for‑Manufacturing principles.
• Lead trade studies to select shop‑floor technologies, assembly tooling, and transportation solutions.
• Size and forecast line performance parameters such as workload, lead times, and ramp‑up capability.
• Establish and cascade the industrial Verification & Validation (V&V) plan to downstream operational teams.

Required profile

• Proven professional experience in industrial architecture, manufacturing engineering, or advanced industrialisation project management.
• Strong understanding of aircraft manufacturing processes and assembly line design.
