Supply Chain Quality Specialist

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Supply Chain and Quality Specialist to join its Procurement, Supply Chain and Quality team in Toulouse, France. You will work within the PIMS Fasteners team, managing a global supplier portfolio and ensuring that quality standards, contractual obligations and industrial risk mitigation are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Assess suppliers during tendering, manage quality approvals and guarantee industrial qualification before serial production (FAIR, APQP, ToW).
• Drive end‑to‑end contract execution to achieve on‑time, on‑quality and on‑cost performance.
• Evaluate supplier capacity, identify risks and implement development and mitigation plans.
• Handle complex quality events (NoE, SARI, concessions) and lead root‑cause analyses and recovery actions.
• Support SCQMs on manufacturing engineering, change management, audits (Aero‑excellence, CMA) and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace quality or supply chain, preferably with fastener‑related expertise.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace standards and tools.
