Supply Chain and Quality Manager (M/F)

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Supply Chain and Quality Manager to join the Flight Control & Hydraulics (PIEA) department in Toulouse. You will be the central point for operational and contractual relationships with strategic suppliers, ensuring on‑time, on‑quality, and on‑cost performance while collaborating closely with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for suppliers on operational activities and contract management.
• Assess suppliers during tendering and contribute to selection decisions.
• Manage supply‑chain and quality aspects of contracts, guaranteeing on‑time and on‑quality performance.
• Oversee supplier quality approvals, ensuring compliance with required certifications.
• Support new product introductions and verify industrial qualification before serial production.
• Provide consolidated forecasts, assess supplier capacity, and ensure sufficient capability.
• Identify industrial risks, propose mitigation actions, and develop short‑term recovery plans.
• Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects and set long‑term development targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain and quality management, preferably in an aerospace environment.
• Strong ability to manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance metrics.
• Experience with supplier qualification, risk assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
