Sub System Responsible – Hydraulic & Flight Control

About the role

In the Mechanical Flight Controls, Hydraulics and Actuation department, you will design, develop and ensure the continuing airworthiness of civil and military helicopter flight control, hydraulic and actuation systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assume system responsibility for the entire product life‑cycle, including cost, certification, manufacturing and maintainability.
• Develop system requirements and specifications for flight‑control kinematics, actuators, hydraulic components and mechatronics equipment.
• Create concept and detailed designs of flight‑control, hydraulic and actuation systems and components.
• Plan and manage development and research projects with internal and external partners.
• Perform mechanical and hydraulic system simulations and size hydraulic components such as actuators, pumps and valves.
• Produce detailed design and manufacturing drawings in CATIA V5 and generate qualification, certification and maintenance documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s or diploma degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering (FH or university).
• Several years of professional experience in development and project management.
• Fluent English (expert level).

Required skills

• CATIA V5 for detailed design and manufacturing drawings.
• Hydraulic system design and component sizing.
• Mechanical and hydraulic system simulation.
• Knowledge of metallic materials, manufacturing processes and surface treatments.
