Stress Analyst Specialist – Metallic Structures (A220)

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Stress Analyst Specialist for metallic structures on the A220 fleet. Based in Toulouse, you will join the in‑service engineering team and work closely with colleagues in Mirabel, Canada, to deliver safe and certified repair solutions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with multidisciplinary teams to develop structural repair solutions.
• Perform static strength and durability analyses for metallic repairs across the A220 fleet.
• Support the creation and update of Aircraft Structural Repair Publication (ASRP) and Aircraft Maintenance Publication (AMP).
• Prepare, review, and approve stress analysis reports covering repairs or allowable damage limits.
• Ensure aircraft safety and airworthiness by reporting unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate repair proposals with other A220 stakeholders, considering certification implications.

Required profile

• Experience in stress analysis of metallic aircraft structures.
• Familiarity with certification requirements for structural repairs.
• Ability to prepare, check, and approve stress analyses for repair development.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with global engineering teams.
