Strategy & Operations Manager – Risk

About the role

Deblock is a FinTech company aiming to revolutionise the industry, and it is looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to act as the engine room of the business alongside the founders and the General Manager. The role is based in France.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose complex operational and regulatory challenges, frame solutions from first principles and drive them to completion
• Build and own frameworks for inter-group outsourcing services, covering performance management, risk assessment and strategic ownership of service execution
• Coordinate delivery across compliance, legal, product and operations to deliver first-in-class products
• Design and implement scalable operational controls, including vendor due diligence pipelines, risk monitoring and service performance, using RAG pipelines, reasoning systems and agentic automation

Required profile

• STEM degree
• 2+ years of experience in the FinTech industry (standout)
• Experience with regulated environments (standout)
• Experience in fast-growing start-ups or scale-ups (standout)
• Experience with product governance and risk management (standout)
• Track record of end-to-end project delivery (standout)
• Based in France; visa or work permit sponsorship is not offered
