Strategic Alliances Director, France

About the role

Anaplan, a provider of AI-infused scenario planning and analysis platform used by more than 2,400 companies, is looking for an experienced Strategic Alliances Director to lead its partner ecosystem in France. The role focuses on partner recruitment, demand generation, raising awareness and enabling partners to market and deliver Anaplan solutions. It is based in Paris.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run a partner engagement strategy to promote Anaplan's offerings across France.
• Drive demand generation with partners and internal teams to grow the pipeline and meet joint revenue targets.
• Raise awareness through enablement programs, workshops and targeted communications for partner sales and delivery teams.
• Own partner readiness with the partner success team by setting prerequisites such as certifications, solution knowledge and delivery capability.
• Work with marketing to create content and campaigns for partner audiences.
• Monitor partner performance and give feedback, support and strategic guidance.
• Work with sales, product and customer success teams to align partner activities with business goals.

Required profile

• Expertise in alliance management or partnership development in technology or related sectors, often with an advanced degree.
• Proven track record in software sales and revenue growth through alliances, with partners such as Global System Integrators and cloud providers.
• Leadership skills to lead alliances and channels, run go-to-market strategies and drive partner sales in complex, matrix organisations.
• Strong communication, negotiation and executive presentation skills.
• Fluent French and English.

• Operational and strategic sales planning, partner business planning, marketing plans and revenue-driving programs.
• Commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• Cultural intelligence, strategic thinking and resilience in fast-paced technology markets.
• Familiarity with Anaplan or similar cloud-based enterprise planning platforms is an advantage but not mandatory.
