Static Stress Lead Engineer for LR Series and Development

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Static Stress Lead Engineer to join the Fuselage Structure Analysis Team in Toulouse. The role focuses on the LR series, overseeing all static stress activities for both serial production and development phases.

Key responsibilities

• Own the static stress scope for the LR program, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and performance standards.
• Coordinate technical activities and act as the primary liaison with internal stakeholders (DOT leaders, senior engineers, CVE, signators) and external partners (suppliers, extended make, VSM, programme teams).
• Serve as the privileged point of contact for the DOT leader on all matters within the static stress domain.
• Organise and monitor supplier and extended‑make activities related to static stress.
• Participate actively in the 1AFS technical network, contributing to meetings, forums, and cross‑team synergies.

Required profile

• Strong experience in static stress analysis.
• Good knowledge of the LR aircraft program.
• Technical signatory experience is a plus.
• Fluent French and good English communication skills.
