Solutions Engineer - Italian Speaking

About the role

Algolia, a search and product discovery SaaS platform, is looking for experienced Solutions Engineers fluent in Italian and English to join its go-to-market organisation in Paris. The role works closely with Sales and Solutions partners to help prospects and customers evaluate the platform, understand its technical capabilities and apply it to their use cases. It is a hybrid position.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Sales teams and prospects on the evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutions
• Qualify customer goals with KPIs and explain how Algolia meets them
• Support the sales process: discovery, demos, proofs of concept, RFP responses and business justification
• Build custom search applications using the tools, frameworks and partners of the Algolia ecosystem
• Advocate customer needs and product feedback to Product and Engineering teams
• Keep up with search and discovery trends and contribute to thought leadership
• Work with Solution Architects and Customer Success on a smooth handover to post-sales and onboarding

Required profile

• Fluency in Italian and English
• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role (SE, SA, consultant, PM), ideally in SaaS
• Previous software development experience
• Experience in a company of similar size and growth stage (ARR $150-300M+)
• Nice to have: additional European languages, search or e-commerce background, knowledge of Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, agentic AI concepts, analytics and SEO

• Back-end: Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C
• Experience with data formats and data transformation

The stated on-target earnings pay range is EUR 76,000 to EUR 105,500 per year, depending on location and skills.
