Software Sales Engineer – Solution Engineer (France)

About the role

The Solution Engineer will act as a trusted advisor for customers across France, delivering product demonstrations, proof‑of‑concepts and technical presentations. You will support the sales team throughout the deal cycle, travel to customer sites as needed, and help shape the digital‑identity journey of prospects and existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to drive deals and solve mission‑critical business problems.
• Lead technical discovery, qualification and proof‑of‑concept activities.
• Create technical proposals, respond to RFP/RFI and security questionnaires, and deliver workshops as a subject‑matter expert.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Product Marketing to provide feedback, develop assets and train sales teams.
• Maintain a central knowledge repository and stay current on digital‑identity trends.
• Onboard and enable partners with One Identity solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of technical solution engineering or pre‑sales experience.
• Hands‑on experience deploying, managing and configuring SaaS, hybrid and on‑premise IAM solutions (e.g., Sailpoint, Saviynt, Cyberark, Okta, JumpCloud).
• Strong understanding of SaaS deployment methodologies and the broader IT and cybersecurity landscape.
