Software Engineer – Interconnect CAD Tools

About the role

Qualcomm France’s Interconnect Technology team is looking for a Software Engineer to help develop and maintain CAD tools that enable designers to describe and configure high‑level interconnect features for SoC integration. The role sits at the intersection of software and hardware engineering, delivering tools that generate Verilog, SystemC, verification environments and other collateral for Qualcomm IP delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements from hardware designers and design new tool features.
• Participate in release planning, delivery schedules and ensure high delivery quality.
• Monitor code quality, manage regression testing and maintain continuous integration pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with ASIC and verification teams to align tool capabilities with hardware needs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Science, Engineering or a related field (open to beginners or experienced engineers).
• Strong understanding of software design best practices and object‑oriented programming.
• Interest in hardware technologies such as block diagrams, RTL Verilog, VHDL, SystemC or Arduino.
• Ability to work in a Linux development environment and collaborate using Git.
