Software Engineer – Construction Technology

About the role

PROXI-TECH is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer to join its team in the Greater Angers Area. You will design, develop, test and maintain software solutions that streamline construction planning, operations and communication.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable code for internal tools, web services and data‑driven applications.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to secure development practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and site teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Integrate systems, troubleshoot production issues and improve performance and reliability of existing applications.
• Produce technical documentation and help refine development processes and standards.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer‑science concepts such as algorithms, data structures and software architecture.
• Proficiency in programming with one or more modern languages and experience building server‑side applications or APIs.
• Understanding of databases, web services and object‑oriented design patterns.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional team and communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in construction or industrial environments is a plus.
