Social Media Project Manager – Western Europe

About the role

Balenciaga is seeking a Social Media Project Manager for Western Europe to lead and optimise its digital presence across key platforms. Working closely with the Head of Social and the Digital Director, you will ensure seamless execution of social media initiatives that reflect the brand’s avant‑garde identity.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen Balenciaga’s presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, Snapchat, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest and emerging channels.
• Plan and execute social media activations in coordination with cross‑functional teams and marketing stakeholders.
• Develop weekly social communication plans for senior management and the Artistic Director’s dedicated platforms.
• Produce performance reports, turning data into actionable insights.
• Lead the creation and production of AR experiences with a merchandising focus.
• Oversee end‑to‑end livestreams of fashion shows across Western and Eastern platforms, including Balenciaga.com and Balenciaga.cn.
• Collaborate with the Image team to adapt creative assets for social and e‑retail needs.
• Monitor competitor activity, platform innovations and social trends to refine strategy.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a social media role within fashion, luxury, or creative/entertainment sectors.
• International experience and strong knowledge of Western social media platforms.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary projects and deliver on tight deadlines.
