Single Aisle FEM Stress Engineer (f/m)

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Single Aisle FEM Stress Engineer to join the Structure & Dynamic Systems Analysis department in Toulouse. You will work within the Cabin Supplier Interface Team, supporting supplier technical monitoring to ensure on‑time, high‑quality aircraft deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Simulate structural behavior using Finite Element Model (FEM) codes, both Global (GFEM) and Detailed (DFEM) approaches.
• Integrate loads and structural component FEM models into global aircraft simulations.
• Coordinate FEM components and define structural modeling rules.
• Perform verification, validation, and advanced numerical simulations to address structural analysis challenges.
• Correlate Full Scale Test (FST) data with GFEM and DFEM results to maintain model accuracy.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience with Finite Element Analysis and advanced numerical simulation methods.
• Technical expertise in structural component integration, load integration, and modeling rule specification.
• Strong ability to verify, validate, and correlate FST data with FEM results.
• Professional proficiency in English for an international aerospace environment.
