Senior Product Manager EMEA

About the role

Hexcel, a global leader in advanced lightweight composite materials for the aerospace industry, is looking for a Senior Product Manager EMEA based in Les Avenières, near Chambéry, France. The role supports the Group Product Manager in developing product line strategies for Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific, coordinating with the global product team and driving growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Group Product Manager in product line strategy, including identifying and justifying product development business cases and managing product development projects with R&D, Sales, Communications and Operations
• Develop coordinated pricing policies across products and plants and position Hexcel's materials consistently
• Build a deep understanding of competitors' product lines through customer contacts, sales and technical support teams and market research, and feed this into the annual strategic planning process
• Lead the marketing/product management effort with regional and global sales teams, building a pipeline of growth opportunities and securing technical support, LTA approval and other internal approvals
• Organize and run Technology Days and customer meetings with Sales, R&D and Technical Support to promote technologies and gather market requirements
• Handle sales activities for assigned product lines and competitors when the business decides to manage them outside the sales team
• Control the marketing qualification budget, report weekly and monthly, and take part in monthly Aerospace Product Management meetings

Required profile

• University degree and 10 years of relevant industry experience, ideally in composites materials and the aerospace market
• Fluent English and French
• Strong written and oral communication, leadership, commercial acumen and ability to prioritize in a complex organization
• Good analytical and organizational skills, teamwork and diplomacy
