Senior Presales Systems Engineer SASE

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for a Senior Presales Systems Engineer (SASE) in Puteaux, France. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office. It combines technical pre-sales work with solution design and architecture workshops across HPE's cybersecurity portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, solution design and architecture workshops across HPE's cybersecurity portfolio
• Deliver demonstrations and proof-of-concepts for SASE (SD-WAN, ZTNA, SWG, CASB, FWaaS) and SSE use cases
• Guide customers through observability and threat detection integrations (SIEM, SOAR, XDR, OpenTelemetry)
• Engage CISOs, security architects and compliance stakeholders in technical and strategic conversations
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs and security assessments with technical documentation
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to give customer-driven roadmap feedback
• Present to both technical and executive audiences and support teammates to close deals
• Accommodate customer schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends

Required profile

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales or solution engineering experience in cybersecurity, networking or cloud
• Hands-on experience with SASE/SSE architecture and Zero Trust models
• Strong presenter able to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences
• Self-motivated and committed to exceeding customer expectations

• Cloud-NAC solutions and preferred certifications such as CISSP, CCSP or GIAC
