Senior Mobile Engineer (AI-First)

About the role

DocuSketch, a leading proptech software provider, is looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to drive its AI‑First transformation. You will build next‑generation mobile applications for restoration professionals, leveraging AI agents and Kotlin Multiplatform to deliver native‑looking experiences on iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Kotlin Multiplatform / Compose Multiplatform applications (≈70% of time), from concept to delivery.
• Implement low‑level hardware communication over Wi‑Fi and create polished user interfaces.
• Build robust offline‑first functionality with intelligent synchronization.
• Lead technical decisions, define architecture, and set coding standards.
• Promote automation, maintainability and test coverage.
• Develop native iOS/Android screens where high performance (120 fps) is required (≈15%).
• Integrate platform‑specific features such as camera, sensors, external cameras and GPS.
• Optimize app size, startup time and memory footprint.
• Collaborate with AI product engineers to embed on‑device and remote AI models.
• Work with backend teams to design mobile‑optimised APIs.
• Gather feedback from field users and participate in cross‑functional planning.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience shipping Android/Kotlin Multiplatform applications.
• Deep expertise in Jetpack Compose and Compose Multiplatform.
• Hands‑on experience with iOS development for selected screens.
• Proven use of AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
