Senior Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a leading luxury retail business to find a Senior Human Resources Manager who will drive the people agenda across both retail stores and corporate functions in Southern Europe. Reporting to senior leadership, you will act as a trusted partner, balancing strategic insight with hands‑on execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex employee‑relations cases end‑to‑end and ensure compliance with labour law.
• Advise senior stakeholders on HR best practice and maintain up‑to‑date policies.
• Lead organisational change initiatives, including restructuring and design.
• Drive talent reviews, succession planning and targeted learning programmes.
• Oversee recruitment for senior and business‑critical roles and build talent pipelines.
• Support salary benchmarking, payroll budgeting and retention strategies.
• Champion culture, engagement and high‑performance collaboration across retail and corporate sites.
• Ensure efficient HR operations, administration and reporting standards.

Required profile

• Proven HR experience within luxury retail or a comparable environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a people‑first mindset.
• Confident influencing and partnership with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Solutions‑oriented, analytical thinker.
• Proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach.
• Willingness to travel as required.
