Senior Concession Engineer – Aerospace Structures

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Concession Engineer to lead static stress, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses for Airbus aircraft structures. The role combines technical expertise with coordination of offshore teams to ensure compliance with Airbus certification and airworthiness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead static stress, fatigue and damage tolerance assessments for primary and secondary aircraft structures.
• Interpret concession inputs such as CODs, COIs and COAs and evaluate their impact on structures.
• Perform stress calculations for metallic, composite and hybrid structures using analytical and numerical methods.
• Use Airbus‑specific tools (ISAMI, GFEM, DFEM) and finite‑element software (Patran/Nastran, Hypermesh).
• Collaborate with offshore stress teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring timely delivery.
• Prepare, review and validate stress outputs (COS, COI) in line with Airbus and airworthiness requirements.
• Maintain compliance with Airbus SAP, PLM and configuration control processes.
• Drive issue resolution across design, manufacturing, quality and configuration management teams.
• Act as the technical liaison for onsite‑offshore coordination and escalation.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of hands‑on experience in aerospace structural stress and concession analysis.
• Strong knowledge of static, fatigue and damage tolerance methods.
• Familiarity with Airbus processes (RSDP, SIDP, AP, ABD, AIPI, AIPS) and Airbus Supply tools.
• Bilingual French and English.
• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (BE/BTech/MTech/MS).
• Airbus Concession Signatory experience and valid training certificates (SAP, ISAMI, VPM, PASS SSI).
