Scientific Data Manager

About the role

Servier is seeking a Scientific Data Manager to support its drug discovery pipeline. You will ensure the integrity, standardisation and accessibility of pre‑clinical data, applying ALCOA++ and FAIR principles to accelerate therapeutic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Implement data integrity and standardisation practices, including Master Data Management and scientific ontologies.
• Act as data referent for projects, translating business and data‑science needs into actionable strategies.
• Administer and optimise drug‑discovery information systems, supporting data acquisition, processing, retrieval and visualisation.
• Provide scientific support and training on data applications and databases.
• Coordinate external resources, managing costs, quality and deadlines for deliverables.

Required profile

• PhD or Master’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of data‑management experience in a research environment (pharma or biotech).
• Strong background in wet‑lab bench work and understanding of biological data origins.
• Demonstrated project‑management experience and excellent communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
