Scientific Communication Manager

About the role

Prose is seeking a Scientific Communication Manager to lead the development of scientific storytelling and claims strategy for its personalized hair and skin care brand. Reporting to the Director of Scientific Affairs & Sustainability, the role sits at the intersection of R&D, brand, innovation and digital product, translating complex research into clear, credible content.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a global scientific communication strategy aligned with brand positioning.
• Translate ingredient data and product testing results into engaging narratives and substantiated claims.
• Review and approve final test results, providing technical interpretation and building scientific dossiers for launches.
• Maintain a scientific and competitive watch to identify new technologies, ingredients and claim opportunities.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, CX, Digital Product and Regulatory Affairs to ensure scientific accuracy across all assets.

Required profile

• Strong scientific/technical background in cosmetic science, dermatology, biology or related field.
• 5‑10 years of experience in scientific communication, claims substantiation or R&D‑marketing liaison roles, preferably in beauty or regulated industries.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; French is a plus.
• Creative, solution‑oriented mindset with ability to work both strategically and hands‑on.
