Remote Quality Assurance Specialist – Report Review & Documentation

About the role

The IMA Group is looking for a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to work remotely and support its physician review operations. You will ensure that medical and claims‑related reports meet internal and client quality standards, helping deliver accurate and timely documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Review reports, addenda, peer reviews, and related documentation for quality, formatting, and completeness.
• Identify inconsistencies, missing information, and documentation issues that require correction.
• Coordinate revisions with internal teams and follow through to final report completion.
• Communicate pending updates, turnaround timelines, and manage urgent requests.
• Support a smooth, efficient experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Clinical or healthcare‑related background strongly preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance, claims review, disability, workers’ compensation, or related areas.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Comfortable learning client‑specific guidelines and documentation standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel (preferred).
