Regional Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

The Regional Quality Assurance Manager – EMEA will lead the execution, consistency and effectiveness of quality programmes across SATS’s European network. The role ensures that Quality Management System (QMS) frameworks are deployed, applied, monitored and sustained at country level, driving improvements in audit outcomes and operational reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the deployment of the EMEA Quality Management System across all assigned countries, coordinating gap analyses, implementation plans and health checks.
• Support and challenge country teams to maintain robust governance routines, documentation, audit readiness and evidence management.
• Execute the regional Quality Assurance Programme, ensuring consistent audit and inspection activities aligned with regional priorities.
• Co‑execute internal audits in lower‑maturity or high‑risk locations and ensure findings lead to root‑cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
• Provide structured country support, targeted interventions and follow‑up of audit action plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Operations, Aviation or a related field.
• Solid experience in quality management, operations or audit roles within a regulated or multi‑site environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work autonomously across a multicultural region.
• Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel as required and fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.

Required skills

• Good understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Experience with audit processes and corrective‑action procedures.
