Quality Resident Engineer

About the role

Yazaki is seeking a Quality Resident Engineer to serve as the on‑site quality liaison between the supplier and Stellantis at the Rennes plant. You will ensure that only compliant parts reach production and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary quality interface with the Stellantis customer.
• Detect, analyse, and resolve quality and engineering issues on‑site.
• Implement and monitor containment actions to prevent defective parts from reaching production.
• Coordinate sorting and rework activities when required.
• Investigate non‑conformities, perform inspections, and provide accurate reporting.
• Support corrective and preventive action plans and ensure follow‑up.
• Maintain technical documentation and communicate findings internally.
• Build strong relationships with customer teams and provide ongoing technical support.

Required profile

• Bac+2 diploma (or equivalent).
• Fluent English.
• First experience in the automotive field is preferred.
