Purchasing Manager / Buyer – Primary Flight Controls

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Purchasing Manager (Buyer) to lead procurement activities for Primary Flight Controls within its Equipment Systems A‑F Team in Toulouse, France. You will shape the supplier landscape, negotiate contracts, and ensure the delivery of innovative and competitive products for Airbus customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define, negotiate and manage contracts throughout the full product life‑cycle.
• Lead commercial negotiations, including calls for tender and supplier selection.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering, R&T, Legal, Finance and Customer Services.
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and Airbus standards.
• Develop and implement new business models and procurement strategies for critical flight‑control systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aerospace or high‑tech procurement, preferably in flight‑control or hydraulic systems.
• Strong negotiation and contract‑management skills.
• Ability to work with global suppliers and cross‑functional internal teams.
• Fluency in English; French is a plus.
