Purchasing Manager – Avionics Communication & Surveillance

About the role

Join Airbus Commercial Aircraft’s Procurement team in Toulouse as a Purchasing Manager for Avionics Communication & Surveillance systems. You will work within a multicultural commodity team of six buyers, overseeing a significant annual spend and contributing directly to Airbus’s cost, revenue, and EBIT targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contracts throughout the full product life‑cycle, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with suppliers primarily in the US and Europe to accelerate innovation and add value for customers.
• Develop end‑to‑end business solutions that influence cost, revenue, and profitability.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across equipment, systems, and services procurement.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement or purchasing within aerospace or a related high‑tech industry.
• Strong understanding of contract and supplier management.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multi‑functional environment and deliver measurable impact.
