Psychology Quality Assurance Lead (Remote)

About the role

This remote, hourly contractor position focuses on leading quality assurance for psychology‑focused AI training projects. You will ensure that AI‑generated psychology content and trainer outputs meet rigorous standards for accuracy, ethics, and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across psychology AI training projects.
• Review AI‑generated psychology content and trainer/QA work against detailed project rubrics.
• Provide precise written feedback and ensure contributors follow quality standards.
• Assess content for psychological accuracy, theory application, research literacy, ethical awareness, mental‑health safety, diagnostic caution, clarity, formatting, and instruction‑following.
• Identify recurring quality issues, communicate updates to trainers and QAs, and support onboarding.
• Maintain documentation and help reactivate contributors who are not working consistently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, PsyD, or equivalent professional background in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Science, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Social Work, Psychiatry‑adjacent research, Education, or a closely related field.
• Strong command of English for following guidelines, team communication, and written feedback.
• 3+ years of experience in psychology research, clinical/counseling settings, behavioral science, teaching, academic writing, mental‑health content review, or psychological assessment.
• Deep understanding of psychological theories, research methods, ethics, evidence‑based practice, and mental‑health safety considerations.
