Propulsion Pylon Engineering Continuous Development Engineer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an experienced Propulsion – Pylon Engineering Continuous Development Engineer to join its Pylon Engineering department in Toulouse. You will work within a multidisciplinary team focused on design modifications that keep the existing fleet competitive and maintain airworthiness.

Key responsibilities

• Drive continuous product development through design changes, including Design Data Set, Engineering Dossier and Technical Risk Assessment.
• Provide engineering support for the in‑service fleet, handling daily technical requests, occurrences and major problem resolution.
• Process concessions and non‑conformities to ensure rapid support to the Saint‑Eloi production plant.
• Lead technical projects autonomously, coordinating with stress analysis, program, manufacturing and quality teams.
• Identify and implement improvements to local processes, working methods and digital solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience in a Design Office or MAP environment with delegated design signature authority.
• Strong background in airframe structure design using metallic and/or composite materials.
• Deep knowledge of ATA54 pylon architecture and related aircraft/engine interfaces.
