Project Coordinator EMEA, Production

About the role

This remote position supports a fast‑paced, multilingual production environment that delivers translation projects across the EMEA region. You will act as the operational link between internal production teams and external linguists, ensuring projects move smoothly from assignment to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate linguist assignments using internal production platforms, matching availability with project needs.
• Set, monitor, and manage project deadlines in line with customer SLAs and internal standards.
• Track assignment status, including acceptance, rejection, and progress updates, providing full workflow visibility.
• Communicate with linguists to confirm status, identify risks, and resolve issues that could affect delivery.
• Handle incoming queries from linguists, logging and categorising them for timely response.
• Reassign projects to alternative linguists when necessary to avoid delays or quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of linguist performance, availability, and payment processes.
• Send, receive, and track translation quality feedback and ensure follow‑up actions are completed.
• Monitor QA status within production systems and follow up on incomplete checks.
• Escalate production risks, blockers, and operational issues to the Production Manager or Lead.
• Execute system administration and workflow processes according to established protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Prior experience in translation, localization, linguistic services, or project coordination within a production or operations environment.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines effectively and perform under pressure.
