Productivity & Gross Margin Regional Program Owner

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Regional Program Owner to drive productivity and gross‑margin improvements across its European Field Service Organisation. The role partners with field leadership, Finance, Analytics and the Productivity Centre of Excellence to translate performance gaps into measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and prioritize regional productivity and gross‑margin opportunities, maintaining a portfolio roadmap with business cases and clear milestones.
• Lead cross‑functional execution from opportunity identification through deployment, adoption and sustained benefit realization, tracking risks and escalating when needed.
• Validate headcount avoidance, gross‑margin and service‑profitability benefits with Finance and Analytics, and provide transparent reporting on portfolio status.
• Partner with Field Service Operations, site leadership and functional teams to accelerate delivery and represent the region in Productivity COE governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in program management, operational excellence, industrial engineering or service operations.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional programs in a matrix organization from identification to value realization.
• Strong analytical, business‑case development and executive‑communication skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and drive KPI‑focused accountability.
